MVP’s Javon “Wanna” Walton Makes Highly Anticipated World Debut

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced today that unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will make her long-awaited return to Puerto Rico against IBF mandatory challenger Nina Meinke (18-3, 4 KOs) on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the legendary Puerto Rico Coliseum in San Juan.

The event, sponsored by CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy, will be broadcast live globally on DAZN.

This fight marks Amanda Serrano’s return to Puerto Rico since she became undisputed champion, and a full house is expected to pay tribute to Puerto Rico’s first undisputed world champion, whether male or female. Serrano will fight for the second time at 12×3, the men’s championship standard, defending his unified IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO and Ring Magazine featherweight titles.

As a sign of her commitment to change in women’s boxing, Serrano recently relinquished her WBC title as the governing body does not support women’s choice to fight 12×3.

Co-starring alongside Serrano will be international superstar Jake “The Problem Child” Paul (8-1, 5 KOs), who will continue his path to becoming world cruiserweight champion in his 10th professional fight, following his first-round KO. to professional boxer Andre August.

Making his highly anticipated world debut on Saturday, March 2 on the card will be MVP’s latest signing, talented featherweight boxer, actor and model Javon “Wanna” Walton.

Also competing on the Serrano vs. Meinke card will be the first two Puerto Rican boxers signed by Serrano:

WBO junior flyweight world champion, Jonathan “Bomba” González (27-3-1, 14 KOs), who will make the third defense of his title, and the young sensation super flyweight Krystal Rosado (2-0, 1 KO).

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 27 at 9:00 a.m. ET on Ticketera.com.

There will be a kickoff press conference on Thursday, January 18 in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of the San Sebastián Street Festival. The press conference will feature all of the event’s featured athletes.
