Rilliwan “Babyface” Babatunde successfully defended the World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Welterweight title on Friday, December 24, at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria.

25-year-old Babatunde, who won the WBF title last April, fended off the challenge of game but outclassed Ghanaian Justice Addy. 

After ten rounds of boxing, judges Adetole Jacobs, Abdulwahab Martins and George Seyi all scored the fight 100-89 for the defending champion. 

Babatunde improved his professional record to 14-1 (8), while former Ghanaian national champion Addy drops to 16-11-1 (14).
